When planning to expand their home, this Medford, NJ, family made it a priority to bring more outdoors indoors. A space that makes outdoor living a daily part of their busy lives, with room for action and conversation, rest and reflection. A place for kids and adults to follow their passions.
Their new addition creates a transition from house to pool and spa. It’s an inspired and inspiring place with covered outdoor living room; gourmet kitchen with professional-grade grill and pizza oven; casual snack bar, and formal dining area that seats 10. Two cupolas high overhead bring in more daylight. Tropical fans and open overhead windows keep things cool in summer, and a fireplace and heaters warm up chilly days.
A few steps beyond the outdoor living area, a large pool is the center of activity: waterslide, pool games, snorkeling, and daily swimming. There’s a sun shelf and large spa for relaxing or hydro massage, and a cold plunge tub.
It all feels like a personalized family resort, always present to start their days, gather in the evenings, and enhance their weekends.
