Project Details

Magic happens when a pool is purposely designed to capture captivating reflections from its surroundings. The trick is making the water stay still.

The effect for this classically modern outdoor living space is a natural light show on display day and night. You see reflections of sunshine, blue sky and passing clouds by day. At night there’s dramatic reflections of lights and fires.

Just beyond the lanai, to the right of the pool, you can see Adirondack chairs circled around a fire pit. The informal circle invites conversation and provides artful contrast to the formal, straight lines and right angles of the pool and spa.

There’s a rhythm to the way this outdoor plan reflects the architectural style of home. You may not notice how the spa repeats the colors and shape of the larger pool, or the pool house repeats the colors and shape of the home. But like the water reflections, you’ll sense the rhythm and feel the harmony.
