The Art Of Outdoor Living

Beautiful designs to fit your style, a pool that fits your yard, and buildable plans that fill your needs.

Design & Style

Make every day a good day for water & wellness

Our design process starts in your home. Following an onsite assessment of your yard, we’ll meet for an in-depth discussion.

You’ll have a chance to talk about your personal styles and lifestyles, your home’s architectural style, your outdoor space and landscape, and the outdoor living features you want most. We’ll then fit all these styles and features into an artful, harmonious outdoor living plan.

Pool & Design

Your pool design comes first

If you want a pool, we’ll start with your pool plan. The pool’s size, shape, and where you place the pool impacts every other element in the design. Get the pool right, and everything else finds its place.

Answers to Your Design Questions

What are the top considerations when designing a new outdoor living area?

The best place to put your pool

Look beyond the middle of your yard. It’s the default choice of too many builders: When you put a pool in the middle of the yard, other features become harder to integrate into a unified plan. Things get cut off from easy access. They can feel scattered or tool small.

Find and fix problems early

Designers need to uncover potential problems early in the planning stage. Privacy and unwanted views beyond the property’s limits are the most frequent issues for homeowners. Other potential issues include ground conditions that could impact your pool if left unaddressed.

Plan for weather and seasonal changes

You’ll want shade from the sun’s heat and shelter from a summer shower. Beyond discussions of covered areas for shade from the sun and shelter from a shower, we’ll chart prevailing winds and changes in sun and shade over the seasons.

Extend your outdoor season

We can add tropical fans, heaters, a fire pit, a fireplace in living and entertainment areas. A high efficiency water heater gives you a longer pool season. A chiller helps water feel more refreshing when summer turns hot. Saunas, spas, and hot tubs are great year around and especially popular when the weather turns cold.

Enhance your natural setting

There’s an art to adding trees, shrubs, and plantings that add color, texture, and beauty to your outdoor space. Your plan should account for the sun or shade each plant requires and the maintenance it needs. Consider how trees and shrubs will grow over the years. Will they overshadow your pool, or obscure your view?
