The owners of this large country home In Buena, NJ needed an outdoor living and entertainment space for engaging with guests on a truly grand scale: a pool with swim-up bar and food service, a dramatic spa, gourmet kitchen, large sheltered entertainment area, and a landscaped lawn for even bigger events.
Project Details
Even before you step off the porch leading from the home, you’re treated to a dramatic view. White pillars frame your view of the large pool with its black marble spa at the far end. The shelter that’s framing your view houses a kitchen that sits below water level, right in the pool. It’s a fully equipped outdoor kitchen where a chef often presides for larger dinner parties. Patio-side guests can eat at a small bar in the shelter, while swimmers can swim-up to sit on in-pool bar stools.
A pool house and large shelter is located next to a poolside patio. The open living area contains a large screen TV. The shelter also houses a bathroom, changing room, and an outdoor shower. Just beyond the living area, you’ll find poolside lounges with umbrellas and an in-pool sun shelf. Another sun shelf is located on the opposite side of the pool.
