The ideal candidate has hands-on experience transporting heavy construction equipment, operating excavators, skid steers, and other jobsite machinery, while maintaining a strong commitment to safety, professionalism, and equipment care. We’re seeking a seasoned professional who takes pride in their work, their driving record, and their role in supporting the successful execution of high-quality construction projects.
CDL Class A and significant heavy-equipment operating experience are required for this position.

- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of trucks, trailers, and equipment.
- Maintain compliance with applicable DOT regulations, company safety policies, and transportation requirements.
- Maintain accurate driver logs, inspection records, delivery documentation, and other required paperwork.
- Operate excavators, skid steers, compact track loaders, and similar construction equipment at a highly proficient level.
- Perform excavation, grading, material handling, loading, backfilling, site preparation, and other equipment-related construction activities as needed.
- Work around completed homes, driveways, landscaping, utilities, structures, and other sensitive conditions with exceptional care and awareness.
- Assist construction crews when driving or equipment operation is not required.
- Perform routine inspections, cleaning, greasing, and basic preventive maintenance of trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment.
- Identify mechanical or safety concerns and communicate maintenance needs before they become larger problems.
- Keep trucks, trailers, equipment, and assigned work areas clean, organized, and professionally maintained.
- Protect customer property and maintain the professional appearance expected on high-end residential projects.
- Communicate effectively with project managers, supervisors, field crews, vendors, and customers.

- Follow all company safety procedures and contribute to a culture where safety is taken seriously.

- Strong understanding of proper equipment loading, weight distribution, securement, and unloading procedures.
- Demonstrated proficiency operating excavators, skid steers, compact track loaders, and similar heavy equipment.
- Strong backing and maneuvering skills with trucks and equipment trailers.
- Ability to safely operate equipment in tight residential construction environments.
- Strong mechanical awareness and the ability to recognize equipment or vehicle issues.
- High attention to detail and situational awareness.
- Ability to perform physical construction-related work when necessary.
- Ability and willingness to work outdoors in heat, cold, rain, mud, and other normal construction conditions.
- Dependability and consistent attendance.
- Strong communication skills.
